Tapas Do Mundo

We randomly discovered this little gem on Google Maps, and it turned out to be fantastic. I honestly can’t recommend a specific dish because everything we tried was excellent. Cozy interior, food bursting with flavor, and super friendly owners. This place is a must. If you’re in Portimão, it’s easily one of the best spots around. 10/10.

Charming place with the most delightful owners Laura and Alejandro I can’t recommend the beef tataki enough, everything was absolutely delicious, the spinach salad was so flavorful and the feta rolls are a must. We will definitely be back for the rest of the menu! Thank you for the warm welcome and the fantastic food

Great high quality Fusion food and outstanding service by the restaurant owners. Also the wine was delicious and the restaurant has a great flair. I can definitely recommend to go there and enjoy some tapas.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Every single tapa we tried was incredibly delicious – each one had its own unique flavor and was prepared with great care. The service was outstanding: warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive throughout our entire visit. You could really feel the passion for hospitality here. The prices were very fair and absolutely matched the quality of the food. I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. We’re already looking forward to coming back next time. Highly recommended!

A unique special gem that must be tried. As other reviews have stated, this place is truly special in all aspects (Food, quality, service and ambiance). Went there because of the great reviews and menu and we were beyond pleased. All the plates we tried were exceptionally tasty, fresh with good flavors, served with good care. Service was very pleasant, inviting and friendly. You will not be disappointed, must go.

One of the most unique restaurants i’ve been to; a mix of tapas and Japanese dishes. I wanted to try everything on the menu, so I told the waitress to surprise us, and we got delivered a variety of gorgeous flavours! I learned from the staff about the backstories of the chefs and the restaurant. Their food is really focused on quality over quantity and it shows in the ingredients used. Such a good find in Portimao, I recommend this to everyone! P.S. A lot of people complain about the portion sizes. In the menu, there is a designated page to tell you personally about the history of tapas food, and how 2-3 dishes are recommended for each person. Each dish is at an extremely reasonable price, and possibly even cheap for the quality of food that you get here. You get more than 1 flavour combination for dinner, and I think a lot of people don’t understand the size of tapas food. Thanks you Tapas do Mundo!

Fully booked on New Year’s Eve, yet the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. Laura was exceptionally helpful all evening, including in helping us figure out what we could eat with our allergies. Both the food and the wine were truly incredible. Recommend this place for anyone in Portimão looking for a cozy experience.
